Ninja Van Malaysia has been alerted to scammers who are falsely representing themselves as Ninja Van and targeting unsuspecting individuals through multiple communication platforms.

Victims have reported receiving unsolicited notifications falsely claiming to be from Ninja Van, requesting them to confirm their address by clicking on suspicious URLs.

If clicked, the URL directs victims to a deceptive website impersonating Ninja Van. This site then attempts to trick them into re-entering sensitive information and paying a fee for reshipping their parcel.

Ninja Van Malaysia does not require parcel recipients to click on any links or perform any additional payment, especially in cases related to parcel damage. We urge the public to avoid engaging with such messages and to refrain from clicking any links or downloading attachments from unverified sources.

Ninja Van Malaysia would like to advise the public to remain vigilant and adopt the following precautionary measures:

• Exercise caution when interacting with unknown links and document attachments from unfamiliar or untrusted sources
• Make sure to only download verified apps from official app stores like Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Ensure your devices are secured by disabling the 'Install unknown apps' setting
• Check for scam signs and with official sources
• Ninja Van Malaysia will only contact our parcel recipients via official channels, such as our official social messaging system NinjaChat, our verified social media and WhatsApp Business accounts, or our email addresses that end with ninjavan.co.
• Inform authorities, family and friends about scams. Report the scammers to the relevant authorities.
